Possible to mod surefire E1B Backup to run on RCR123's?.

I just paid for a surefire e1b backup tonight, but I asked here on the forums if I would beable to use rcr123 batteries since I have some.

I was told it won't work with them.

So my question is can it be modified to beable to use rcr123's?, and if so about how much would something like that cost?.
