Thanks! That picture was taken in the Crozet Tunnel. Here's the picture from my avatar (it was taken in a completely different tunnel):

Excellent shots!

Hmm Im only a state away, might have to check those tunnels out some day /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I love long exposure, they seem to bring out some really rich colors.

The UK Vectra seemed to do well.
What you think of it?

Thanks again /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you're ever in VA I'd be happy to show you the tunnels.

The Vectra is pretty nice (especially since it was only $23 at Brightguy). It's a great alternative to 6V lanterns. The waterproofness and long runtime are good when exploring underground, and it's reassuring to know that there's a backup bulb just the flip of a switch away.

I am kind of upset, I can't seem to get the "cpf image gallery" I use to load the pictures, this is frusterating.
Anyway I use an Olympus C-2100 it's only 2.1 megapixles but has a 10x optical zoon lense

Say, what is that little metal switch (???) on the inside back of the Maxabeam's handle? I have noticed it before, but I guess it's now appropriate to ask.

Thanks for the complement! the switch I belive you are refering to is the locking latch for the battery, pull up on it and the battery unlocks and can then be slid off.
