Well, you convinced me.Oupes Exodus 600 Power station available online for $119 with free shipping on Oupes.com website. Got to have something to charge up all my flashlight batteries when camping. Has 600 watt true sine wave inverter, 12 volt outlet, USB ports, and USB-C port, and 3500+ charge rated battery (256 watt hours). Can run on up to 240 watts solar, charge with 300 watts A/C, or both. Ordered a cheap $9 8 mm to Anderson cord on Amazon so I could use with a cheap Rich Solar Panel instead of spending more on theirs.
Your welcome. I needed something more powerful than my Milwaukee Top Off that could be used as a UPS during blackouts at home (not for computer though) and charge with solar while using it for camping. The Top Off falls short in those areas. I'm looking forward to using them in tandem on trips though. I can charge my Milwaukee 18 volt batteries with the Oupes when I don't need much power and use the Top Off and the Oupes when I need more outlets later on (or use my Milwaukee 18 volt lantern or 3000 lumen floodlight. I can also plug the floodlight straight into the Oupes with an extension cord). The Oupes lacks one thing, a high powered USB-C outlet. The Top Off has one that is 45 watts. For $119, I can't complain. The Top Off was $100 without a battery and puts out less than 1/3 the wattage, and isn't a true sine wave inverter. It's nice that the Oupes can charge so fast too. I can camp and just take a day every now and then at a partial hookup campsite to charge the Oupes, then move on to cheaper sites if solar doesn't work due to weather conditions. Wonder if it will charge off an inverter in the car that is less than 300 watts without damaging the outlet or blowing a fuse. Car outlets usually top off at 120 watts.Well, you convinced me.
Didn't even remotely plan on buying a 2nd Power station today.
But deals like that one don't come around everyday. When they do, got to jump on it. Bought the same one you did. Along with a 100watt. solar panel, and the 20ft. extension cord for it. Free shipping. But of course, tax. $293.98 in total. Had to go for it as my other Power station is not nearly as powerful. Though I do like my Westinghouse iGen 160s. Thought my 2nd Power station would be another, more powerful Westinghouse model. Oh well, took a close look at that Oupes. Too good to pass up at that price.
Thank you for letting us all know about that sweet deal. Appreciate it, Brother.
If I need to, I'd probably charge the Oupes off of my 400 watt Wagan true sine wave inverter hooked up to the car battery rather than my 200 watt Wagan inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter outlets. Just not convenient because I can't do it while driving. Don't want my car outlets damaged.I'd be hesitant to do that with a vehicle. I'm also planning on getting a Ryobi inverter later on for smaller, quick jobs. I'll end up with a good trio. Ryobi, Westinghouse, and Oupes. I'm currently researching gas generators. But those can honestly wait.
