Hi,I bought a used ppl-125 about 6 weeks ago and I believe I'm the third owner, so I can not confirm it's age or how it was used. The problem I'm having is it drops the output by approximately one half shortly after turning it on, and then the output will rise back up. I'm using fresh Energizer batteries and tried using 2 fresh Energizer e2 Lithium AA batteries with an adapter. I think the problem could be in the switch, because moving the red switch button a little with my thumb, makes the laser much dimmer. Is there a way to clean the switch ? Thanks for any help.

Hi Larry,
Contact me at my website and we'll see what we can do.
Include the serial number as well.
Don't even try AA cells with an adapter, they can't even come closer to providing the needed current. 5000-6000 mAhr NiMH cells will work best.

I don't know of a way to "clean" the switch, but it can be replaced and does not cost an arm and a leg. However it does need to be sent back to China for this repair, so it does take several weeks time.

Thanks
