Yes you're right about the LuxIII, but the anodizing was not the same. From what I understand, it was anodized in Japan and the quality was not on par with US HA3 standards. I'm not justifying the cost, just pointing out why the price difference. I bet that some of the others went for wayyyy more than $200 in BST.

Well what intended purpose did you guys buy it for anyways? Personally, this would be the one that I would use the most/keep on my keychain/show off since it'll likely be the most expensive flashlight per area that I've spent so far. A little concerned about the cost but I vow that I will not buy a light again.. this year. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Mike is going out of his way to create an opportunity for us to buy a rare flashlight that starts its life as an excellent light, and through Mike`s own efforts, will be made into a great light.

His price is not out of line for a flashlight of this quality and craftsmanship.

I've went wayyy over my set limit for the year already. And to think I've only been around for a couple of months!

Just out of curiosity, what is the acceptable voltage for this light? Would it work with a rechargeable?

I didn´t want to start a discussion about the price of the Ichishiki , only wanted to know exactly what I can look forward to as my christmas gift .

I think that when he is done, he will remove all those people that are on the list but didn't pay. Then we all move up and the new numbers will be the serial number that are given. Me, personally, I REALLY want either #33 or #69. But truely I just want the light. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have updated the pre-pay list again. I hate to say this but some people are bailing out and I have no choice but to move people up on the list. When this happens, a new number will be assigned. If I don't do this, I'll have 3 or 4 people fighting over the same number. I'm traying to make this as fair as possible and go down the list as you placed yourself from the previous thread. People who are not on the list and want to pre-pay may do so but will be added at the bottom. This is OK until 89 to 90 units are sold.
