had my DP XP-L HI for months now and it still rocks it just fine.

Armytek, I'm getting very annoyed with my Armytek Predator pro v2.5 that I purchased roughly two months ago. Every time I use it in Tactical mode by putting pressure on the tail cap or turn on it just flickers. I have cleaned it about eight times already. Now it's just getting annoying, it makes me not want to use it. I also feel it's not a dependable product.

How do I verify? I'm using brand new Thrunite NCR18650B and Xtar 2600mAh 18650, charged with a Xtar XP4 or VC2. They work fine in my other lights.

Then it sounds like your cells are good. Must be the light then.

Sounds like the tailcap, there's the switch And there's how well tightened down the tailcap is, and if the tailcap is clean of course. .. try clicking on and using the tailcap as a twisty and see what happens.
Myself, I would like for the tail cap to lock on somehow, the lubed anodized threads turn so easy. ..
... actually it sounds faulty, but messing with the tailcap is worth trying.

I had the same issue with a Viking 2.5 Pro. Knew the switch was faulty as put the Predator switch on and the light functioned fine. Maybe they had a bad batch of switches.

Well, they were forwarded through Australia. Prolly has something to do with the curvature of the Earth.

I guess it's not the switch. Armytek asked me too test for the switch, now they asked me to send my v2.5 back and are sending me a v3.

man I just got the XB-H V3 Pred and it is awesome! The tint is freaking amazing! It is not as high output as my PP V3 HI but the amazing tint of the XB-H more than makes up for it. No technical issues either the light works flawlessly! Good job Armytek I love it!

Hey mate,
I have the XB-H V3 and have been considering getting a V3 HI. In regards to throw, which would throw further? In previous posts, they look very similar but the specs say otherwise

I don't think so, more output and throw. The programming was neat but I only really set it up how ArmyTek lights are now or used the default settings.

Is there anything visually different about the Predator V3 and Predator V3 HI version? I received my HI V3 and it says HI on the box...but comes with standard V3 instructions. The instructions say it throws 381m and has the same specs as a normal V3.

Have they just sent the wrong instruction manual? It says XP-L on the light its self.

Anyone know if it should say V3 HI on the light its self?

Have a look at the led , does it have a dome? If so its the xpl, if looks flat then the HI.
