Preordering Surefire U2?

Like many others, I've decided I want a Surefire U2. From what I can tell, they won't become available for several months yet. I've seen some mention of preordering them.

Is there any place that is still accepting preorders, and is actually making sure they'll have enough U2s to meet preorders? If there's more than one, who's got the best price?

I'm worried about ordering from someplace that is just taking all the orders they can, and will just sort of fill them whenever...

I e-mailed TAD Gear a week ago with questions about preordering and have gotten no response whatsoever. Besides sending a warning signal (they haven't even got my money yet and already I'm not worth their time), it just seems rude to me. I can't see ordering from them.

U2? M4 with Crenelated bezel? I tried all the dealers I know and they said wait a month at least. June probably July is real I think. I have my 2004 SureFire catalog in hand and I want them NOW!

I ordered mine via Meridian Tactical since you could order via the web and they say they won't charge your card until the unit ships.
