I have been researching, I have decided to consult the CPF EDC masters after a week and still no light in my hand.
I am looking for an AA EDC, I had a ZL SC51w but it was all flood and I like it to have at least 3000lux in my beam profiles to make me happy.

I'd get the older RRT-0 or Jet Pros with the XR-E but they are out of stock/discontinued and way to expesnive to get off Ebay new.

I am also looking for a light with a momentary activation as well as an SMO reflector.

Thanks for any help guys. So far, I think I am limited to the Klarus P1A. It's just missing a SMO reflector and little more lux so before I get out I want to be sure I am not missing anything else.

What is wrong with the Protac 1AA that was recommended to you in another thread? I would have thought that it met your qualifications quite nicely.

$35 shipped on Amazon right now. Not sure about the lux rating of the Protac, but I can tell you that it is a very bright 50 lumens.

Be patient and wait for an older RRT-0 XR-E to come up for sale on the market place. I have seen them for as little as $50.

I have been watch cpf market place like a hawk. If there is any good condition rrt0 xr-e r2 for $50 or less, I will be snatching it up too. Missed my chance a couple months ago.

Yeah they are hard to come by wish they never discontinued it. The newer emitters and thier floodbeams/massive oblong reflectors are not for me.

As for the streamlight, it doesn't have much info on it. No lux values i could find let alone outdoor beamshots. 50 is ok but i know theres higher out there.

So i figured 3,000 lux, 100 or over ansi output, smooth reflector, momentary activation(negligable)
All these and id be happy.

Well being that you don't like my favorite (sc51w) how about a 4sevens quark tactical AA. Don't know the lux but it's listed as 109 lumens? You can get single or double AA

I looked it up, i've owned enough quarks to be honest im not impressed in any way with them. Thanks for the suggestion though.

The eagletac p10a is looking good. Can't imagine getting the streamlight over this.

That looks like an awesome choice

There is currently a Jet-I Pro V3 on cpfmarketplace. I got one last time when I missed out the rrt0 r2. See if you can get yourself a good deal on it. It is actually shorter than the rrt0 with the AA extender on and is marginally brighter than the rrt0 r2.

I just got an offer on a RRT-O with the XR-E R2 but an OP reflector.
Waiting for a reply.

In the meantime. I was digging the P10A. It's my next choice although I can't find it anywhere for sale.
WIsh they made more XR-E/XP-E lights driven harder on 1 AA.

The P10A is discontinued. I've been looking for one too and no old stock anywhere either.

I have a PT1AA and while it's rated at 50 lm, it has a tight spot so it throws pretty well for 50 lm. At 20', it's brighter than my Olight T15 but the T15 lights up more of the area.

I'll add in another vote for the Jet-I Pro v3 over the RRT-0. I prefer the interface/UI of it, and it also seemed to out-shine/throw the RRT-0 as aau007 mentioned.

Check out the d25a or d25a2by eagletac. The only thing is that it's twisty. The size to power far out weigh this for me.

Did you buy the Jet-I Pro v3 from Kap over at the MP?

I only remember 1 offer and it was retracted it. Good deal too. I forgot why though.

I ended up getting a what was deacribed as a very low use rrt-0 xr-e with an op. Anyone know if i can switch these to a smo?
