The bulb came out with the bulb holder

Notice that only the solder is left, the bulb holder is on the feet of the bulb itself

Look at what happen to the reflector....

PT!!! You cost me a snubbed toe! I was using it while biking last nite.....

Does this happens to everyone's surge? Or do I loose my bulb because the solder came off half way while I on it....

I broke mine as well. I widened the focus to use it as an area light and left it run for 15 minutes. Powered it off and left it alone, next time I went to use it, I cranked the focus back down and twisted the bulb right off the circuit board. Seems the bulb fused to the reflector, now I don't change the focus - less usefull but more reliable. Princeton fixed it with no questions asked.

I did solder it back to the board.... but it sucks when you can use your light and the bulb drops out half way while you use it.
