just got the princeton tec torrent led today, its not a bad light only around 47 lumens i believe, still has the battery carrage that the surge has but it has no sharp points like the other one. The switch is easy to use and has a lock to prevent it from accidentally turning on. Waiting on an a chance to walk the dog in the dark with it to really see how good it is in the dark.

Is it available at Eastern Mountain Sports and where did you get one ? How much do the cost ? Do you have any pictures of it since it's not on Princeton tecs website.
got mine of www.leisurepro.com where the item has free shipping or u can get it at www.brightguy.com one thing i fogot to say is the beam is different its square shaped and around that is a black ring which u can see why off bright guys pictures as far as my pictures well i dont have a camera but i can borrow one. + cost off leisure pro was 54.99 and brightguy is 49.95 but then theres shipping.
