Hey guys,

Do you know if the batteries on the PrincetonTec Pulsar LED are user replaceable? Some places say yes, others say you have to send the unit back to Princeton.

Thanks

Alexis, I don't know what PT's official stance is on this but FWIW, I have changed the batteries on my pulsars at least twice. A little bit tricky, but if you look near the loop where the keyring would go, there should be a small (tiny?) slot. I just pried the thing apart starting at the slot and working my way to the LED. I have also found that if you pry it just enough, being careful not to separate the two halves closest to the led, the batts will just drop out. Just pay attention to the polarity of the batts when they drop out and just insert the replacements in the same way. Worked for me. Hope this helps.
Regards,
Ed
