Problem with U-15 - new version!

Hi,

I recently got one of the new current regulated U-15 (from the DEMA superdeal) and it worked just fine for the first two dives, but during my last dive is stated blinking for a second and after that it was only running with a very low light! I tried to exchange the batteries with fresh ones (the ones I was using were freshly charged), but without any change!

The light was dry inside. No water had entered, but I was diving in cold water (4C) - that should not be an issue, right? I was thinking condensation might have damaged the current regulation??

Any ideas? Is there a return policy on these superdeals? :sigh:

Hmm, can't think of what could have happened.

Have you contacted Barbarin or Barbolights directly yet?

If not, you should, I'm sure they'll be able to sort it out. :thumbsup:

Me or any other on the factory checks CS e-mail every labour day. but we do not check this forum everyday. Of course if you post here sooner or later I will respond, but it would be easier by e-mail.

Doesn't matter where or when you purchased your light, the warranty is the same, so we will cover the repair or the substitution.

Yes, I got you reply on my direct mail as well - I was just hoping for a quick fix in case somebody else had the same problems, as I'm going on a divetrip in 3 weeks and wanted to bring my new divelight

The light will be shipped back to Barbolight for repair tomorrow. Thank you for your excellent service.

Just wanted to give a little positive feedback on Barbolight. I have received a replacement light from them while they fix my own light - that's what I call service!

Thanks you very much.

I'm personally a mess, but the team of people working here is really serious and efficient doing his job. Barbolight CS is always great and somebody will always respond yoru mails or phone calls (although Barbarin -the founder- issometimes is in another world.)
