Problem with U2 Ultra

Hello All,
I'm running a 17670 in my U2, and if I leave it alone for a while, in order to use it I have to unscrew the body tube, pull the battery out, put it back, and then re-screw it on. Is this normal? Is there a fix for this?

Edit: The 17670 is an AW protected, and fully charged.

How long do you run the light?

If you run it long enough, it might be the battery getting too low and the protection circuit kicking in. Then when you take the battery, it recovers enough to run the light again.

If that is not the case, then I'm not sure why.
