What type of mcd are the top Nichias or other LEDs producing today? I have some 35,000 mcd which are nice, but have not read much of what the industry is at present.
Have a few yard lights and wants to update with the brightest to test out.

I'm not sure about the MCD rating but they put out more than 10lms.
Their efficiency is higher than a LuxIII. Which was cream of the crop near when you signed up for CPF. Oh how times have changed. Power LEDs are over 100lm/watt at 350mA. If i recall correctly the Cree R2 is about 110lm/watt and still over 100lm/watt at 700ma.
