First off, I'll admit that I haven't lurked here very long, so I could be asking y'all to rehash something that's been discussed before, and if this is the case, I apologize. If there are previous threads discussing this, feel free to just point me in the right direction. I did a Google search of the site, and didn't find anything.
I've got a PT Corona Bike light. I'm not sure exactly when I purchased it, though. I think probably 2004. But, I could be off by a year or so. It looks just like the latest model, as far as I can tell. It takes 8 AA cells, and the battery pack is in a plastic cylindrical tube, with rubber caps on each end. I'm not finding any writing or numbers on it.
I'm trying to figure out if it's compatible with lithium and/or NiMH batteries. I know the latest model is.
So does anyone know:
1) How long has the PT Corona Bike been compatible with lithium and/or NiMH cells?
2) Is there any way to tell exactly what year my Corona was manufactured?
Thanks very much.
