PT Impact mod

Today I got brave and carefully tore apart my
PT Impact head module to lower the resistance
and Wow!!! I couldn't believe the throw this
optic enhanced little single led light now
has. I lowered it from 21 ohms to 10.8, I
wonder how long the led will last at this
intensity . You can even see a light beam 4''
from the lens . I can't wait to put in an even brighter led when they come out.

Hi Torcher. That sounds like a mod I'm tempted to try too. There's another Impact mod at Quickbeam's site, but I'm not sure what was done yet as only pix are there, editorial's still in the works. That's Aragorn's work. Please keep us updated with this mod's success! Thanks!
