Purple LED on MPJA for $2.99

Marlin P Jones Associates, in their latest catalog, and on their web site www.mpja.com, have a purple / near UV LED available, it is under their new items category. I think it is rated at about 80 mCd, so it isn't going to be a real blaster. $2.99 each, 2.80 for 10 or more. I sent off for a few to try out, along with some modular DC-DC converters for potential white LED flashlight / lantern usage. Will let y'all know how it stacks up when they arrive.
