After work the other day I had to go and cover my sailboat for the winter. The boat storage yard has no AC power, so I brought along my LED flashlights.
The Turtlelite II was my primary source of light. I turned it on when I started and didn't turn if off until 4.5 hours later. Ran bright and strong with no weakening despite the 30 degree temps. The bright and broad beam of this light makes it ideal for anything but other than trying to spotlight something far away.
I put the PAL Gold in the boat's cabin, standing on end, and just let it run for about 3 hours. Anytime I needed something from inside, I had more than enough light to find it.
My final source of light was a Photon II in white. It came on at the time when I needed light, but didn't want to move the Turtlelite because it was propped up to shine on a work area.
It was very enjoyable to put my LEDs to practical use. With regular flashlights I would have gone thru a few sets of batteries or would have constantly turned them on and off to conserve charge.
