does anybody transport/carry their protected [regulated] R123 using SF spare carrier?

i think it *should* work, but since the SF spare carrier fit the batteries kinda tight, i am also afraid that it might be *too* tight and damage the circuit in the battery.

anybody try it before?

I use an SC2 to hold 6 R123's. It works fine. I'm looking at them right now. they do not fit tight and the top screws on fine. My R123's are the 3.7V from JS Burley's.

My protected R123's didn't fit any of my Surefire spares carriers. I ended up throwing them into those cheap orange matchsafes that can easily hold two cells end to end.

"+ve to +ve" or "-ve to -ve"? (just wondering, or does it matter?)
