Hi, Just thought to show this beam shot for Q-III owners.

Will appreciate if you check your color preferences.

Each one of you can click two BINs.

By April 4th, we all can share the results.

Thanks,

Warren,

Any chance you could put all the *O next to each other and put the *A next to each other? Say YO, XO, WO

What each one is sitting next to greatly affects the perception.

I am scratching my head on the YO and YA, since the YA should be the most blue. Certain you didn't get them mixed up?

What was the white balance setting on your camera? That'll make a huge difference.

Looks like Auto white balance. It's difficult to say what the camera chose as a white point.

If the camera chose any single beam to be "white", then every other beam would have a slight color cast to it, even if the "white" beam its self had a color cast to it.

WO has gotta be my favorite. My QIII is WO and it looks more blue in real life than in the picture. I kinda think it's the perfect color /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I will open up all bezel and check BIN once again and post the picture as Newbie recommended.

Thanks for all comments.

Warren,

put your Q-III in poly bag (zipper lock)and drop in the boiling water for 1-2minutes.

Grap the head tightly with wrench (towel inbetween)and unscrew the body.

Warren,

V0 and V1 is warmer white, I will post when available.

Warren,

Dont think my q3 is a vo any more.It looks vo under the sun and when compared to my v1,but is more like wa after i compared it to 4 other colours and at different places, nontheless it still looks white under most circumstances.Colour perception can really vary alot in different enviroments. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

Picture posted again.

I replace the Y0 and YA with equivalent new one.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif
