As a side note, the light did come with a black tailstand piece. I don't know if they usually come with the standard version.

Yep! They all come with the tail stand piece.

Glad to see so many people talking about using lights and not just collecting! I use this light a lot. The Alpha, i have some problem using that still. It’s too nice or too expensive (to me) that I don’t use it like I should. I’m close to selling it due to that. I have a hard time figuring out why I can use the quark but am afraid to get one blemish on the alpha. I think cost.

Got mine QK16L today. The color of the flashlight is gorgeous and the tint is pretty good, it's uniform and slightly rosy. If my light is an indication of whar to expect from all of these Quarks, rest easy my friends, this light is well worth it, especially with that sweet discount that I'm shocked this light was a part of.

Ooh! Be still my pounding heart. Text notifications activated. So L@@King forward to the new Slate Blue! Thanks, defloyd77!

I was surprised to learn that the Blues have been available for about four weeks. I'm obviously OOTL. :ohgeez:

Did anyone get an email notification? I signed up to get one when they became available but did not get an email.
Yes. I received the email notification. But I don’t remember signing up specifically for this announcement. I thought it was his general email update that I received. At least it’s still in stock I see.

Yes, very happy they are still in stock. Got my order in. I kept checking CPF to be on the safe side to see if they were available.

I get that, as well. I have two Alphas - the MCE and a Nichia Triple. I use the hell out of them both and rotate them as the wind blows. They are too good not to use and hand down to a friend or my daughters.

Two more blue 16650s gone. A buddy and I each grabbed one. I have only dabbled in FourSevens a bit over the years but the set of features and that sharp ano on this one intrigued me.

I went ahead and snagged a 2xAA also,

I’m really curious about the different outputs on Med & High for my use. Also the length may be better for my personal EDC at work. So time and testing will see.

Good. Now you can share beam shots?

Now that I’ve had this light for a number of days and gotten to use it a bit I think I can say I genuinely like it. And the competition for carry time here is very stiff. I LOVE the smooth floody beam and the white white tint. I was hiking in the snow a bit tonight with it and snow is pretty unforgiving as far as tint and there is just no ugliness in this beam. It is just white white! I kept the M/H dual mode configuration for daytime use and am enjoying that. I have plenty of lights around for moonlight modes if I need that in the late night hours. The size with 16650 is definitely pocketable, a nice compromise on size and capacity. My only suggestion so far would be regarding the clip as I am probably as much a clip nut as Jason is. I would like to create the clip such that it is deeper carrying. I don’t like the entire tailcap poking out of the pocket. The attachment method is nice and should easily accomodate a clip with a deep carry bend in it.

Oh good grief. I even browsed the site to see if I needed anything else but I didn’t see those. 🤦🏻 Maybe I will get an extra battery to help make shipping worth it if I order one of those.

Well, they were pretty much hidden. I knew they had them, and I knew they were in stock. However, I still had to use the search function to locate them. So, the issue is with the webmaster, not the eager shopper who's excited to complete their transaction.

One wonders why there isn't a suggested items help. - Customers who purchased this xxx also viewed these items.

Well I appreciate the lead. My friend and I both wanted one so I just placed an order and added another 16650 and some MCClickies and metal polish cloths to make the shipping worthwhile.

Anyone else putting their light to some use?? I didn’t expect it to get a lot of pocket time and to be more of a tester toy for this new emitter but dang do I love the beam on the light. I have taken it on three night hikes now and thoroughly enjoyed it. The finish is pretty but it’s gonna be a user plain and simple!

Well, I’m still waiting on my2xAA blue model shipped on Dec the 8th!

Post Office has just FAILED like no other!!!

I bought a 40 pound wheel off of eBay last week and FedEx got it to me in three days!

USPS has had my new light now for a ridiculous amount of time!

And that’s a Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box!

I’m really looking forward to the AA model to compare to my 16650 model I currently carry.

Gahh that’s annoying. I’ve been pretty impressed with all the parcel carriers lately actually. Considering their package count is like 50% more than a year ago, I have still been getting stuff close to on time, maybe one or two extra days at worst.
