Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been here but I seem to be having a problem. When using my laptop, I notice that at around 57% the battery heats up a lot and the voltage drops to about 9.7V for a 6 cell battery (I am guessing 3 cells in series and then parallel with another 3 cells) and then once it gets pretty warm the voltage jumps back up to 12.3V and then the battery starts going back to normal temp.
What I am thinking is that maybe there is a bad cell in my battery and the internal circuitry shuts it off when it drops too low. What do you guys think?
