Re: Question about LED lights; not keychain but po
I'd say it depends on what you want out of the light. Do you want a high performance light, or a cheaper solution that can do the same job for less, but maybe not perform quite as well?
I think the Nuwai .5W AAA would be a good buy, although there are other fantastic pocket lights out there as well. Personally, I use my Gerber Infinity Ultra. There are gripes about the old CMG's being better quality...and maybe that's true (I've never used one of the original Infinity Ultras) but my Infinity Ultra serves my needs perfectly...so it's no surprise I keep reaching for it. It's a single LED, isn't that bright...but hey...I don't stumble over the ottoman, so mission accomplished! It's also uh...low profile...so I can move around the house without searing everyone's retinas as they try to sleep!
If you want something a little brighter, but still a pocket light, the Inova X1 is also a good pic. Just a warning...this thing is basically a spotlight...NO sidespill. It's perfect for viewing your target, but for basic navigation you'll have to swing the thing around because you can essentially only see what's in the spot. I has it's uses though, so overall I like this light a lot!
Strictly sticking to your two provided choices though...I couldn't say. I don't have experience with either light. I'll only recommend what I've personally dealt with.
