I have been reading some interesting reviews on the Jil-CR2 flashlight that uses CR2 battery.
I know that I can get surefire CR123 batteries for $15 for 12, are the CR2 as reasonably priced?

CR2s are a bit more expensive, likely due to their lower penetrance in the market. While we may like little CR2 lights like the Firefly or KI, do you know of any other item in your house that uses a CR2? Probably not, aside from some photo applications.

Kevin's selling his for $1.25, I remember buying some Toshibas from Botach for $1.50, I've seen loose CR2s go for as little as $1.00-1.25 shipped on ebay, which isn't so bad for Kodaks, Panasonics, Sanyos.

Kevin = Battery Station. Check GreenLED's thread on the "Dealer's Corner" Forum, relating to CPF specials, etc. You'll get your CR123s for a buck each, too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

FYI....a commercially available CR2 flashlight is the Vortex KC-1.
