I remember reading on here that someone said that they human eye needs to see four times the ammount light in order to make it seem twice as bright. Is this true? So if that is true, a 200mw laser won't seem twice as bright as a 100mw? Would a 100mw (532NM, Laser Light Show) be good enough for a medium size venue (where a couple hundred could fit?) I was thinking about purchasing this:

Seller says that it does have an IR filter installed.

Also, I've heard and read conflicting things on how much brighter a red laser needs to be in order to acheieve the same ammount of brightness as a green. I've read that it needs to be anywhere from 2-6times bright.. I'm sure there is exact figure because we don't all see light the same way.

In a large venue, I can assume you will have fog, or smoke of some variety - and the 100mw will be sufficient ! On another note : Even though you did not ask - Sik is a VERY reputable dealer. Top notch products come from that vendor. I have a 100mw and a 200mw red module from him - both perform flawlessly.

If you are going to go with Red - if you go to the 200mw range, it will be VERY nice - if you were to get one of the RYG displays - that mixes red and Green to make Yellow, as well - that is even nicer !

Yes - the human eye is fickle to say the least ! You need 4 times as strong to have it appear twice as bright to normal eyes. That is not absolute - everyone sees light differently, but it is a general rule of thumb.

Thanks a lot, I was wondering if should go with a 150mw, but i'll take your word that it should be bright enough. I have a 30mw (big dipper from Dj Traximus) laser so I should expect this to be about a little than twice as bright? Also, do you guys suggest to use a Hazer instead of a Fogger?

Yes, from what I've read Hazers kind of linger in the air longer, and don't feel as stuffy and Foggers are cool for their effect of their "burst of air".
