Question on MH25 Pro battery on choosing a 21700?

I got this light (I like nitcore out of our over sea light choices for the design etc.)

it has a 21700 (I normally stick to 18650 ONLY), but I I thought I would try this one.

Can it take any standard 21700 (I see a lot can't do 20A, so I guess it would be less bright. I normally like Keep power batteries, any suggestions?)

Would something like this work?

Everyone online was say it was a propriety battery, but to me it don't seem like one what am I missing?

Are we seeing a shift to 21700 over 18650 just for added capacity. I guess roughly it has twice the capacity on average.

What battery would you consider for this?

Thanks!

I have the previous model MH25s, at only 1800 lumens, but I have used both the 40t Samsung 21700 and the 50s Samsung and both work fine, but the 25s does not pull as many amps, but either battery would work, as they both allow for at least 25 amps

Nothing on their website saying it's a proprietary battery.
I just prefer using the battery that a company provides with their individual models. If anything goes wrong, they can't get out of a warranty repair by claiming I used a non-their brand battery.

It looks like this light uses the NL2153HP (21700)

Well the P23I uses this

I also have another 21700 (TD04) light.

The Nitecore Battery from the MH25 pro will work in the TD04, but no other combo will work the TD04 battery is super short.

Just annoying how I"m seeing a lot more pain points with 21700 then I did with 18650's it seems.

Got some keep powers 21700 15A and they work great in the MH25 PRO. Super bummed the P23I could not take it so I ended up returning it. . I really enjoyed that light, but can't take a non standard battery.
