Question on Pila Lights

I am considering one of those Pila lights that use a 168A rechargeable and was wondering how the tail cap (the one with th4e LEDs) works. Is it push for temporary on and twist for constant on, and if so how do you turn on the LEDs as opposed to the incandescent lamp?

Also, since these don't appear to have any pocket clip, how do you carry them other than with a holster? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Cliff, I have the Pila GLX3 and two GL4's I like the Red LED tailcap best then Green. The batteries have to be loaded positive down (towards tailcap) For the LEDs to work. A slight press will turn them on but your finger or thumb is all over it . Twist until they light up your good to go twist more and the incan is on.
A press will go led then incan if you do not want LEDs then turn the cells around
You get just incan. Hope that helps I do try, Jon is my Pila Guy JSBurly He can fix you right up.

Thanks for that info, that sums it up. Jon seems to be out of most Pilas at the moment, but I'll stay tuned.

here you go. this one he is holding is a Wolf-Eyes light but its the same as Pila lights. i can resend you the video by email or soemthing.

5-Mode 4 x LED Tailcap Switch Using:
A. Screw the 4 x LED tailcap on to the end, the head light will be constant-on, tailcap light off.
B. Screw the 4 x LED tailcap back off half turn, head light off; the tail 4 x LED light will be constant-on. Simultaneously the head light can be Morse on by depressing the tail 4 X LED lens and then the tail 4 x LED light will be cut off automatically in turn.
C. Screw the 4 x LED tailcap back off further, the tail 4 x LED light will be turned off; simultaneously the head light will be Morse on by depressing the tail LED lights lens.
D. Continue screwing the 4 x LED tailcap back off further, the head light will be turned off; simultaneously the tailcap light will be Morse on by depressing the tail LED lights lens.
E. Screw the 4 x LED tailcap back off further more, both the head light and the tail 4 x LED light will be lock-off to prevent activation

another thing to add to the above. when using the LED tailcap switch, everytime you press the switch, the LEDs will always turn on first. when you press harder the LEDs will turn off and the incan will turn on. you'll see it in the video.
