Surefire makes a single 123A extender that fits onto some of the M series bodies between the body and the tailcap. I think the part number is A19.

Does a regulator have to be at the front or can it be anywhere on the light? If the regulator can be placed at the rear then I'm curious could the A19 extender be modified to house a regulation circuit instead of an extra battery?

If so it would in theory be possible to make an regulation unit that could be used on the M2, M3, M3T, & M4?

(I'm not smart enough to do this myself)

Richard.

This sounds like a great mod. Maybe it could be done with the Willie Hunt circuit board, but alas, I too am not smart enough to make something like this. Would be a popular mod though if someone wanted to go through the effort. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
