So is the C3 just running the same lamp as say the 6P just with another batterie and this makes it brighter? Sorry for such a basic question I am new to all of this. Also can you use any of the rechargable pila bateries with the P90 and P91 lamps reliably???

Re: Questions about a C3 and Pila rechargable batt

No, the C3 uses a P90 (105 lumen) or P91 (200 lumen) Lamp Assembly. The 6P uses a P60 (65 lumen) or P61 (120 lumen) LA. If you try to run a P60/P61 using 3x123 I would expect the LA to insta-flash.

IIRC, 2xPila150S will work with the P90/P91 LA. I have not tried this myself, though, so hopefully someone more knowledgeable can chime in.

Sorry stupid question I was thinking of something else on the first lamp question. My main concern would be that the Pilas would work with the P91 and work reliably. I purchased a M3 and I am seriously disapointed. It seems to me like a very overpriced light. The beam is oval shape and seems to be a little bulky. Well I hope they take this think back.

M3 is designed more for weapon mounts. It is also slightly brighter than the C3. I have a 9P and have had no trouble running a P90 with 2x 150S, but I never had reliable operation with the P91. On my M3, I don't think I could get it to work correctly with 2x 150S (with either the MN10 or MN11), even with the extra spring.
