The LE system was introduced with the McLuxII-Aleph line and abandoned with the current McLuxIII generation.
This means that the only McGizmo lights that do accept LEs are the Aleph heads ... like the Aleph1 head.
The McLux-PR and -PR/T heads are McLuxI heads of the initial McLux Series and are bulk heads that do not accept LEs. They have the emitter and converter permanently mounted. The only difference between those is the mass for heat-sinking and the look.
All three heads you mentioned ... meaning the Aleph1, PR and PR/T do use the McR27 so the beam profile is identical.
The obvious difference is the use of the Aleph LE in the Aleph1 head, but depending on your desired application, the heat dissipation capabilities might be of interest. The PR is obviously best, followed by the PR/T and then the Aleph1 that has the LE's threads in the thermal path.
For our usual applications this isn't of much concern, but imagine a LuxV driven at 1Amp ...
