Quick eneloop charger question

Is this the independent channel smart charger sanyo made for eneloops? Bought the pack from costco but the way it's described (1 hour super quick charger) sounds like those dumb battery cookers. I want to ask here first before open the package so I can return it if it's not.

Not absolutely sure, but I think you hit the jackpot. Most information suggests that a 1C charge rate is pretty much perfect for Eneloops, and you have a Sanyo charger packaged with Sanyo batteries and a 1 hour charge time. Just odd that the same package is not available outside Canada.

Edit: crack the package, it is MQH03U 😀 I found it very strange sanyo doesn't advertise the fact it's a smart independent channel charger (in layman's term of course), it must help the sale!

Edit 2: the review mentioned barely audible pulse. Maybe it's because I have good hearing but it's very audible to me and driving me nuts. Right now it's about 4 feet away from me and I already got a headache from it, going to move it into the basement or something...

Interesting that yours has the black car cord.

All the ones I have seen so far have had the white car cord.
