Quick question about Hound Dog V3 head

Can I put the Hound Dog V3 head on an MD2 Body? Sorry, I know this is basic but there is also a specific 18650 head and I dont want to ruin the light. Thanks!

HD V3 is good up to 12 volts. Not sure if it will run on a single lithium “18650” but you can’t hurt it on a MD2.

Thank you! It looks like it won't work, needing at least 5.5v. But if it wont hurt it, may as well see.
