Quick Z44 (black aluminum) question...

Why are some shinny gloss and others matte finish?
Is it just manufacturing variation, or a different design all together

I have a matte finish Z44 which looks like black HA but I'm not sure.

black (shiny), gray/natural, and black HA which looks matte.
