REACTOR III

PS Just went to place an online order and after reviewing their very inconvenient procedure, I decided to wait for one of our regular dealers to carry them.

!!

Ive been dealing with them on &off for 6 years and bought both my surefires from them(6P,12Z and charger) never had a problem.

My guess is the original reactor uses 2 AAs, so the newer flashlight capable of 3 cells should be called the "reactor 3". Can anyone picture a "reactor 4"?

If you are in the U.S., you might try an R.E.I. store in your area. They were the first to offer it in a regular store..-where you can touch it, and if the Luxeon in it is not good, you can exchange it.

p.s.-make sure that if you buy the Reactor I, that you get the updated switch!

Someone want to make an extention tube for the Reactor to fit a 3rd battery?

If R3 has regulation/resistance, I like Roy's idea of adding an extension to R1 and Direct Driving it. Because if you already have an R1 with a good LS, it would be come an instant LGI...(although the plastic head might melt).

Wonder if the R3 has an aluminum head or they just used silver plastic to make it look like aluminum?
