As soon as Mr. Malkoff makes a 2x21mm body for the Dogs. My Super sorely needs an upgrade from 3x18mm to 3x21mm. It's nice, but it's huge.

Ehhh…I guess that I'm just a luddite and as such, I'm still in the 18650 camp and I have four 50Es for my Xtar PBS2 power bank.

Me too. id be happy with a non-proprietary parallel 4x21 single emitter searchlight. Fan-cooled and w. carry handle and like 4-5k lumen.

For handheld inline the hound dog or super with 2x21 is fine.

18650 is now garbage to me now 21700 just is better imho

I prefer 21700 but the lights I use most often are still 18650s. Both have a +/- to them but when there can be only one, it's a 21700 light

The 21700 lights I own are just a little too large to trouser carry. So I still prefer 18650. But if wearing a coat or carrying a bag i may consider A 21700.

I'll get a 21700 light only after I get a charger that fits said cell size. In the meantime, 18650 is king.

I'm now a convert. Last two lights I bought were 21700's. One battery has a USB plug and the other charges in the light (via usb). My dozen or so 18650's lights now rest with my 123's and AA's. All part of being a collector.
