Rechargeable 123A for L4

Can L4 takes 2* Rechargeable 123A (2 pcs I think the total voltage will be 8.4V)? Will it cause L4 any bad? TIA

You'll fry the luxeon. Use one Pila 168S instead. Found at JSBurlys.com.

I heard from CPF that this is not safe to do so. However I've been using 2 X R123 in my NF2 with TL-3's 9V blub for months, and I'm still here. Use at your own risk anyway....

what you really got to watch out for is using bare li-ions in a series.

safety risks are just not worth taking.
