Recommendation for cheapest 2C mag mod?

Not looking for anything fancy, just looking for something like a drop in to change my old incan into an LED. Preferably something with nicer output and decent runtime.

if you have a local target, check to see if they have any magled dropin on clearance. they are going for 10 bucks

TerraLux's are running ~140 lumens. You can get ~233 with these changes:

3 CR123A in place of 2 Cs

The battery adaptor tube is cheap and the bulbs run $2-4.

I have to agree. I have two 2-C Maglites so equipped. They work well. And as pointed out from above, you can get them at Target. Home Depot also sells the MagLED conversions.

true. some ppl saying they can find clearance of magleds dropins for 10 at ****'s sporting goods.

i checked my walmarts, no good deals.
