Can anyone point me in the direction of a slim 1xAAA light available with a neutral emitter, preferably in the 4,000 - 4,500K range and with a clicky?

I'm looking for something that will fit into one of the side sleeves of a Leatherman holster to go with my Crunch.

I've tried my Q-mini AA, and while it does fit, it's too tight to easily put it in and take it out of one of those side sleeves.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Not a lot AAA clickies, unfortunately. But UniVex AAA fits all your requests if price isn't an issue.
I'm guessing Peak might be able to help, but it's "clicky" is momentary only.
Or get the Preon 2 NW (not sure of its tint though) and fit the head onto an existing Preon 1 clicky if you have.

There are some clickies in AAA, but finding anything but cool emitter might be difficult. The idea with a Preon 2 NW from Zeruel is a good one.

The univex is awsome. Got the one with a flood optic. It got exatcly the same beam as my malkoff m60wlf, only in a smaller package, can be dimmed down, and with a little better tint🙂 My univex managed to steal the clip from the liteflux when it was not looking😗

One of my favorites is the N-Light B3. Can be had in neutral, has a pocket clip & clicky, price is fantastic. You couldn't really ask for more... But appears to be sold out at the moment.

If I had to guess, I would say something from Peak but good luck trying to navigate their web site. You can try the RMSK web site (Peak reseller) which is a little better but not much. Most likely you would have to call Bob at RMSK to figure out product offerings.

The DQG AAA in R4 neutral would have met your requirements. Correction: It's a twistie. But it's sold out, from its sole dealer, cnqualitygoods.
N-light B3 clickie with an XP-G R5 3C, $30. Is 3C is neutral enough?
Black Cat HM-01 is a $10 narrow reverse-clickie whose Osram LED is warmer than most Crees.

Thanks for the info guys. The Univex sounds really nice, but I have to keep my budget realistic. In a perfect world, I'd still be able to get an LF2XT for this, but alas, as we all know, that perfect world disappeared long ago... 🙁

I actually bought one of the new Preon 2 neutrals a few weeks ago, but I'm very displeased with the tint. I also bought a ti Preon 1 body for it as well, and I hadn't thought about using it for this purpose. It might actually be a good idea though, because this light will only be a backup / emergency / auxiliary light.

I was also considering the B3... It actually looks quite nice, and the 3C tint seems acceptable. My one issue with it is the weight though; I know 40g really isn't that much in itself, but it's pretty hefty compared to an aluminum bodied light.

HKJ, what are the two lights in your pic, on the right, between the B3 and they Yezl? Are either of them available in a neutral or warm emitter?

Thanks again for the info guys. I'll experiment with my P2 head on the ti body and see if that would work. I'll also look at the B3 again, as well as the DQG and the Black Cat.

Edit: I just remembered that the LD01 has an R4 emitter... but I can't find more specific info on it than that. Is that the XPG neutral R4?

That is a UltraFire A2 and a FiFire A18. The UltraFire is a heavy single level light, you can see it in this beamshot. The FiFire uses a lens and has a rather special beam, I did include it in this beamshot.

I'll also look at the B3 again, as well as the DQG and the Black Cat.

The DQG is a nice small light, but it is a twisty.

I do not believe so, Fenix has not use warm emitters in any of the LD01 lights I have.
