I'm after ideally a more spot than flood as use them to look inside holes, slim, sort of 2xAAA size but ideally rechargeable, end cap switch.

Lots of twin pack for a tenner stuff on amazon, I can't afford a £40 big name but can run to say £20/25 for something that's half decent.

One reason I can't pay too much is I lose them...

Cheers, Greg

Didn't realize you were looking for a penlight too! Maybe you could post what you are looking for in a new thread….

I have a Lumintop penlight, 2 AAA cells, very well made, on Aliexpress for £20 tax and shipping included. I'd flog you mine if you lived nearby, but it's cheaper for you to buy new. Olight make nice little lights too. Or an Olight i3e from eBay, only £10, it has a naff twisty cap, but if you lose them anyway …

PS: wrap fluorescent yellow tape round the torch, it may help.

Acebeam Pokelit 2AA. hCRI and nice and floody. Sadly only 2 modes.

Better to run it off of 2x AA instead of the included 14100. It reduces the max output from 600 to 300 Lumen, but it gets crazy hot at 600.

Optionally, for a more spotty option, the Nitecore MT2A Pro

Has 3 modes.

Thirdly...I would suggest a Sofirn SF15, but that model seems to have disappeared off the face of the Earth (along with the SC21 Pro and SC32).
So, I'm going to suggest SC31 Pro:

Bigger than a penlight (18650), but the price is right.

I own several Sofirn lights. Great lights for the price.
