I have a couple of old flashlight reflectors that I need refinished. Any ideas on what type of finish would work best, chrome, nickel, etc. Anybody on here do this or know of a company that I can get to do it fairly inexpensively. Thanks in advance for your help. *Mods if this is in the wrong section please feel free to move it, wasn't sure where to put it.**

I think there are threads about this. In general, the reflectors are coated using vaporized aluminum in a vacuum. I don't know of anyone who's located a facility that will re-plate one.

Unless it's a rare and expensive light that you are restoring, it may be much cheaper and easier to buy a new replacement reflector.

Another place is one that repairs telescopes, probably not cheap.
