Reflector diameter versus hotspot?

Hello, maybe stupid question, but i dont know.
Modded a gt micro with a white1 led (100.000lux) and a eagletac S200C2 with a white1 led (200.000lux).
If the led is perfectly centered, will the bigger (eagletac) reflector give a smaller hotspot?

Because i am also trying to mod a MF04 with a white1 led (only have 600.000lux) , but my hotspot is bigger than the GT micro and Eagletac???

A larger reflector should make a smaller hotspot with the same emitter, and have more throw at a similar power level. If it doesn't, there's probably a problem with how deep the emitter sits in the reflector, assuming the centering is good.
