Hi,
I searched very intensively for a small keychain light, and a larger one. Since I want to use standard (=AA or AAA) rechargeable batteries I narrowed my choice down to
-) sonic keychain task light
-) Infinity ultra
-) GMC reactor
-) LX 3.0
All of them but the LX 3.0 have a step-up converter, but how much does the light go back when the batteries fade? Since I want to use HiMHs it is important for me that the torch works fine with lower voltages.
How does the regulation in the LX3.0 work? Is it regulated or "resistored"?
Do you have any experience with this issue? Or are there any other manufactorers that solve this problem better than CMG?
(No, shurefire is too expensive for me..)
