Hi all,

I searched the entire forum and couldn't find a way to remove the driver PCB from an Ultrafire C3... has anyone done it? It seems to be a press fit between the aluminum puck and the PCB. Heating it doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Here is the link !!!

It is not very easy to remove the driver... What I did was :
- first unsolder the led
- then solder one or two resistor pins on the back of the driver (see two of them soldered on the first pix of the previous link)
- then use a pair of plier to pull as strong as you can on the resistor pins

The driver should "unplug"
