Removing/replacing LED from Streamlight Stylus

Here's what I want to do: On an older 2-cell Streamlight STylus LED light, I want to remove the stock LED and replace it with a turquiose LED from a Photon. The photon is the simple part. I can't figure out how to get the led out of the Stylus. I tried tapping the LED out of the body, but it won't budge.

Has anyone tried to remove the LED from a Stylus?

Not to be a "wet blanket", but this mod will probably not perform.. Mostly because a turquoise LED will want to live in a body that has 3 cells instead of 2.

Let me guess, your stylus has a red LED you want to upgrade?

Actually, i was going to use one with an orange LED...Anyways, I didnt even realize that the little P2 was a 6V affair...ooppss...
