Removing the RA clickie driver?

Hi all,

I was just wandering if anyone has removed the driver from an RA? I've seen a few LED swaps etc but no pics of a driver out.

Any pics or info would help.

Thats what it looked like to me, I was hoping maybe someone else had some pics. I wanted to make sure nothing was threaded in there though. The reason I was thinking about taking it out is to replace it with something else.

nice, does it preserve the shock resistant battery area and everything?

Yes. That spring loaded battery + is a separate piece from the driver. Getting inside that light made me really appreciate the design. A lot of thought went into those.
