Reno Quake preparations: Lights and generators

I guess the folks near Reno are undergoing an unusual series of quakes. I hope you do not get a big one, but better have the lights and generators ready just in case. Are people preparing or just kind of taking things as they come? I suppose solar could be a good option for charging batteries in NV, considering the sun. What are your emergency plans, if any?

After the quake in Illinos the other week I'm getting the feeling that something big (geologicly)is about to go down! I do hope you've got enough batteries around the house.
