Replacement for Red LED Inova X5

I've had my second Inova Red LED X5 for three months now; the first was returned after one week. The second is having the same reliability issues and I am thinking I might not want to try a third.

I've done a reasonable amount of searching (the forum and the web) and do not see anything that would be a close replacement. I am looking for reliability (well, my white X5's are bulletproof), toughness, and a brighter light & longer run times than the red button lights.

Any suggestions? TIA

Check out Peak LED Solutions, they can custom make you one of their lights with a red LED. American made and super reliable.
