I have a Streamlight Lux Jr. that I like using for walking at night and was considering replacing the LED in it with a brighter one. It appears to have a luxeon star QX1J that is sanded to a round disc in it. It also uses an optic lens and I was wondering if the cree or seoul LEDs would be a good swap.
For $6-$7 perhaps I can double the output or more of this light.
