Hello !!
what's happening if i change the 3.3K ohm by a 3.5K ohm or more? and same for the 220 ohm ?
and how measure the ampérage with my ammeter?, I spécify not the power with the LED.

Put the ammeter in series, like this:

I hope no sellers recognise the box and what is being measured - /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleye11.gif

Increasing the 3.3k resistor above that will start to burn out the diode and make the circuit very unstable. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jpshakehead.gif

Judging by the threaded head and the "practical" batteries, I'd say Arnolds gonna whooop yer ***. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/whoopin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

(ps. what did you acheive in the above tamperings?)

LOL. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif

Increased the current to 50ma - 10mw. Nothing to shout about. They won't go any further without blowing. Well you've gotta try... hence my username. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh thanks for the tip on taking it apart Racoon, saved me damaging the paint-work with your idea of screwing a nut onto the end to grip. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
