Reuse batteries - probably old news.

Haven't visited the forum for quite a while. But, I cannot be the first to discover that AAA batteries that my pager decides are deceased will power an Arc AAA for an hour or so. There must be many other devices that cut short their AAA's in this manner. No use wasting those electrons, is there?

Yes, my radio does the same thing with AAs, cutting off when they get below 1.1v. There is useful juice left in alkalines down to about .8v. -RussH
